Couch Surfing

The Office of the Children's Commissioner and the CREATE Foundation partnered up for the Annual Couch Surfing Race run by Anglicare NT to raise awareness about youth homelessness. The event was held in Darwin's Civic Park and included service providers from across the Top End. With eight couches entered into the race, it was a tough competition. The young people that raced the OCC/CREATE couch made it to the final race where they took on the Don Dale couch. It was a close race but the OCC/CREATE couch made it across the finish line first to win the race!
