Child Protection Week 2022: Where are children safest

For Child Protection Week 2022 we asked young people around the Top End where they feel safest and most supported. They told us they are happiest when they are connected with family, community and culture. They value having trusted adults around who are looking out for them, like mum and dad or organisations like Clontarf Foundation and Stars Foundation.

During NT Youth Week, the Office of the Children's Commissioner hosted photography workshops run by Kim Shanahan, for young people in Katherine. Kim taught the young people about lighting, composition and what makes a good photograph. Check out some of the young people and their photographs.
